Co-curricular
and extracurricular activities offer the students different avenues
for personal development. Independent learning is fostered in and out
of the classroom, thus preparing the students for the challenges and
rigors of life.
Many
in school and after school activities offer various opportunities for
service and enrichment. Every class has one or two class trips each
year.
Organizations
such as Student Council, Destination Imagination, School Band, School
Chorus,
Prayer Group, Folk Group, Talent Show, Girl Scouts and Brownies, The
Informer Newspaper, Safety Patrol, Battle of the Books, Altar Servers,
Volleyball Team, Softball Team, Spelling Bee, and Geography Bee are
some examples of the different activities available to students.
